FTF calculator FAQ

Everything players ask before their first trade check.

What is the FTF Trade Calculator?

The FTF Trade Calculator is a free tool for Roblox Flee the Facility players. You add the items you are offering on one side and the items you are receiving on the other, and it compares the total FTF value (FV) of both sides instantly. The result is shown as a Win, Fair, or Lose trade based on the current FTF value list.

How do FTF item values work?

FTF values are community-based trade estimates for hammers, gemstones, sets, and limited items in Flee the Facility. They give players a shared reference point so both sides of a trade can compare what they are giving and receiving. A listed value is an estimate for comparison — it is not an official Roblox price and it does not guarantee a trade result.

What do Win, Fair, and Lose mean in the calculator?

The calculator compares the exact FV total on both sides. If you receive more value than you give, the trade is a Win. If both totals are equal, it is Fair. If you receive less, it is a Lose. Demand and stability are shown separately as context and never change the W/F/L result.

What are hammers and gems (H/G), and how are broken items valued?

Items in Flee the Facility can be traded as a full set or broken into a hammer (H) and a gem (G). Broken items are worth less than the full set: Legendaries split 70% hammer / 30% gem, most seasonals split 50/50, and neon-gem exceptions split 80/20. A few items keep their full value even when broken. Use the H and G buttons before picking an item to value it as broken. See the methodology page for the full rules.

What is the difference between FV and HV?

FV (Flee Value) is the base value unit used by the FTF value list. HV (Hunter Value) is a convenience unit based on hammer value, where 1 HV = 30 FV. You can switch between the two with the unit toggle in the calculator — it only changes how numbers are displayed, not an item’s relative value.

How often are the values updated?

Values are synced with the official FTF values list and are usually updated within minutes of each value list update. The “Last updated” date is shown inside the calculator, and the value list page is refreshed whenever the data changes.

Is the FTF calculator free to use?

Yes — the calculator, value list, and guide are completely free with no registration required. A Discord login is optional and only used if you want to back up your inventory to the cloud or sync it across devices.

Can I track my FTF inventory?

Yes. The Inventory page lets you catalogue your hammers, gems, and sets, see your total collection value, completion stats by rarity, and save your inventory as an image. Everything is stored on your device, and you can enable cloud sync by logging in with Discord.

How do I avoid scams when trading in Flee the Facility?

Always compare both sides of the trade with the calculator before accepting, and check demand and stability rather than only the raw total. Verify the exact item names, be suspicious of trades that feel too good to be true, and never let another player rush you into a decision. The use guide covers safe trading in more detail.

Is this site official Roblox or Flee the Facility software?

No. FTF Calculator is an independent fan-made reference. It is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or the Flee the Facility development team, and item values are community estimates.
