How to trade in Flee the Facility
A practical, scam-safe approach to FTF trading: check values, compare the full offer, and know when to walk away.
1. Learn the value of what you own
Start by looking up every item you're planning to trade in the FTF value list. Pay attention to three numbers on each item page: the FV value, the demand score (1–4), and the stability. A 300 FV item nobody wants can be harder to move than a 100 FV item everyone is hunting.
2. Compare the complete offer, not one item
Trades in FTF can include up to 4 different items and up to 10 copies of the same item. Add everything from both sides into the trade calculator and compare the totals:
- Win — you receive more FV than you give
- Fair — both totals are equal
- Lose — you receive less FV than you give
Remember to use the H and G buttons when an offer contains broken items — a hammer or gem is worth less than the full set.
3. Check demand and stability before you accept
A trade can be “Fair on paper” and still bad for you if you're receiving items that are dropping in value or hard to move. Check the stability tag on each item: rising and doing well are positive signals; dropping, receding, and struggling are warnings. The methodology page explains every stability label.
4. Avoid the classic FTF scams
- 🚫 Rushed trades — “accept fast before they leave” is the #1 scam pattern. Never rush.
- 🚫 Broken items passed as full sets — always confirm H/G status on every slot.
- 🚫 Wrong-item swaps — similar names and similar-looking items get swapped at the last second. Verify exact names.
- 🚫 “Too good to be true” overpays — if someone is overpaying massively, ask why.
- 🚫 Off-site deals — keep trades in the Roblox trade screen; no Discord middlemen needed.
5. Trade up over time
The most successful FTF traders don't chase single big trades — they steadily convert low-demand items into high-demand ones, complete sets that rise in value, and keep an eye on the value changelog so they buy before items rise and sell before they drop.
